Your Responsibilities

As an operations technician, you will be part of an innovative factory in full operation. We offer an exciting role with varied tasks and the opportunity to be involved from start to finish in the daily operations of our facility in Kisa.

Your responsibilities include:

• Control room monitoring and management of the facility
• Trial runs and testing with follow-up to continuously improve the work
• Troubleshooting as well as proactive and corrective maintenance of the facility

You will work in a shift team where collaboration and effective communication are key to ensuring an optimal and disruption-free operational process.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained operations technician or has industrial technical experience, for example from the paper, process, or energy industries. You have a technical interest and are driven by development and improvement. Good knowledge of Swedish is required for the role as it is used in daily work. Knowledge of English is highly desirable.

As a person, you are a curious team player who enjoys collaborating with others. You like to work solution-oriented and proactively with your team. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills and your work style is characterized by precision. Flexibility is important as the job requires you to work shifts, as our schedule is based on a 5-shift system.

About the Company

Meva Energy is a high-tech company in renewable energy that uses thermochemical conversion of biomass residues. Meva Energy is in the midst of a commercial breakthrough after signing agreements with furniture manufacturer IKEA Industry and soft paper manufacturer Sofidel. Sofidel's facility is already operational, and next in line is IKEA. At Sofidel, the produced renewable gas replaces the use of fossil fuels for soft paper drying. At the IKEA Industry facility, the renewable gas will be converted into renewable combined heat and power through generators and used internally on site.

These two customers represent the primary customer segments for Meva Energy: processing companies for wood panels (construction wood) and soft paper manufacturers. Meva Energy's technology can be used to replace fossil natural gas in many manufacturing processes and generate cost-effective renewable combined heat and power from industrial biomass residues.
